Wanting to start tying my own jigs. Help needed.

I am wanting to do some tying this winter. Is there a kit i can buy to start with that would have the essentials needed? What do you recommend? Not wanting to do it for profit. I fish 1-2 days a week and would like to mess around with the colors and experiment with some differnt stuff. Any tips or advise is appreciated.

I looked at a few kits before shopping at ebay so my kit is a lot larger for the same price.
A fabric store was closing, I got nylon and polyester threads for 50 to 75% off.

You think you are going to just do a few and play with some different colors. Wait until you get started and say to your self, I think I would like to start molding my own jig heads. Then you will want different size molds, more feathers, more chenille, more hair, and then the next thing you know, you are hook in to this addictive hobby like the rest of use. Have great fun with it and you will make a lot of friends on this site.

Yep that's exactly my off ramp into the addiction...now I lay awake at night trying to come up with the next best jig...lol. Welcome to the addiction...
