    Good looking jig and except for the head it's like the famous Gray Ghost which just has a unpainted head! Lots of guys swear by that jig!

    I also don't like the tails ending even. What works for me is thinning scissors I purchased at Walmart. Cuts the tails uneven. Pop

    Tennessee trey, You are making some real nice jigs there! I love to fish with the kiptail in my jigs and had a guy on here who was killing the crappie on kiptail jigs and he told me that when he started tying them more sparsely he started catching more fish on them, after years of tying them full I tried his way and they caught more fish for me also, so try a few that way too.
