There were some guys on Ohio Game fishing that made a cnc mold to make the and got the actual material off ebay but it's not on there anymore.

A friend of mine uses his regular Do-It molds and a hot glue gun. He puts the hooks in and shoots in the hot glue, instead of lead. They come out great. Trims them up with a razor. They don't stick to the mold, and I don't think he does anything special. They float, suspend or sink very slowly, depending on the hook size. I think he uses that typical semi-transparent, rubbery-type glue.
I have some he gave me, but, shamefully, I haven't really tried them.
They do work for him, though. He uses the on double dropper rigs, mostly.
I tie flies, so I like to put on a little clouser on if double-dropping. I like the movement and flow of a fly.
I'll have to try some of his, in case he asks!

Some years ago there was a floating head with a reversed jig hook. Fished behind a sinker the hook would ride in the up position.
I am looking for the ball heads for the walleye run this spring I
