    Default New jigs tied

Here are some pics of jigs that I have tied in the last couple of days. Please let me know what I need to improve on to become better at tying them.

Them dogs will hunt Try a jig without a collar or trim it off ... much easier to deal with and more uniform

You can take some side cutters and squeeze steady right behind the ball head till you feel the resistance of the hook. Turn the jig slightly and do it again. Repeat till stem is loose from head. Then take side cutters and cutting along the shank remove the loosened shank. Now you can tie your material directly to the hook....Jigs will be more uniform in size. Good luck.

I will cut the Barb off and leave the collar if I am tying in a lot of tail material then level it with the collar to give a bigger body profile to a jig.
