    Default Blade sizing

    Been tinkering with some pony heads and dont like the original size of the blades and got to looking around for some different ones but dont know enough to get my self there but enough to get in trouble. What size blades are you guys using and is there a blade size chart some where for Indiana, Colorado, and willow that I can just look at and say thats what I am looking for.

    let the razzing begin

    Get you a Jann's Netcraft catalog or LurePartsOnline. They both have blade size chart. On 1/8 which I use most of the time I use #1 and run some with #2 for real thump. On 1/16 I use #0 or #1. These are for Colorado or Indiana blades. On 1/16 I use up to #2 willow and on 1/8 I have started using #3and on some 3 1/2

    I use #1 on the 1/32 Pony Head type and on the Real Roadrunners I use a #0, but that is size by Worth and Hagens is not the same! I think on a 1/8 I have some #2 willows that I use. I do have a lot of different sizes and types, some Colorado as well as Indiana style.

    So what size heads you doing?

    I've always gone by the sizing chart in the Do-It catalouge - but you can go up or down a couple sizes no matter what type of blade.

    X2 with Skip on the Hagens blades, they seem to be about a bit smaller than the Worths. The only blades I try to stay with size per the Do-It chart are swing blades like the Rooster tail blades.
