    Default Road Runner Crappie Jigs

I'm new to tying jigs for crappie/panfish angling. I set out to do something I haven't seen done a lot of. I've started tying road runner heads with rubber skirt material and use them in conjunction with bobby garlands baby shad artificials. Ill have pics soon but as Blackmore strickly monitors sell of their trademark it'll be for show only. In the meantime, do any experienced jig makers have any tips?

I tie all my Roadrunners with marabou tails. I also paint my Roadrunner heads so if you paint yours there are several ways to protect the swivel and each person should choose what they like to do to achieve what you want. I cover mine with tin foil, some use cold water to protect it while others use heat shrink tubing.
