I don't know sorry. I don;t pour my own, but would think it easier to pour them with out a collar using a mold that has a collar. Blakemore has 1/16 with a collar I know because I have some. Don't know about the pony heads though.

I've got the older Pony Head mold with the barbed collar and it works well.

I've got the 1/16th and 1/32nd Horsehead mold (no barbed collar) - and if i'd known it had pour spouts on each side of the mold I wouldn't have bought it - you can only pour 4 at a time, but you might be able to put a heavier wire hook in and use a rubber mallet to make the shaft hole bigger and use a piece of wire then pour with a hook and straight wire. After you can bend the wire into a hook for plastics.

I wish Do-It would put a pic of the actual molds on their web site and the catalouge so you can actually see the inside of the mold.

Wasn't wanting to make one each size,1/32 and 1/16 is all I use,I use mostly 1/32.
Don't see why they couldn't barb a mold just for those two...
Thanks Fatman, you saved me from making a mistake.

Here's the inside of the old Pony Head Mold

Here's the inside of the Horse Head 1/16th and 1/32nd - as you can see it uses both sides and you can only pour 1 side at a time as you can fit 8 hooks in the mold if you want it to close (Yes I use sickle hooks in mine).

Turtlebait if your mold has a collar it is very easy to modify. If it doesn't have a collar then its best if you would go out and buy a new Do it mold. If you have a collar on your mold take a small finish nail cut the point off and put it where you want it on the mold with a piece of scotch tape. Close the mold and hit it with a big hammer a few times untill the nail point is now the barb. It will take some work but this is the best way to do it. I have cut the barbs with a small dremell type tool and a dental drill . As I have had a lot of practice at this sort of work it was no problem for me . But if you don't have that skill the nail works much better. Don't be afraid to pound on it as they are tough. Be sure to sand off any burrs that you leave.

I find that some plastic baits hold better with a small bit of super glue on the regular pony heads. Some of the plastics hold fine with out any glue or barb anyway.

For what your wanting made in a trade you'd be better off getting one of the older molds and pouring yourself. I make alot of them every year but truth be told, I don't think you'll find anyone who would do a trade like that. Now you may find someone who will pour just the heads for a trade but I wouldn't expect a split ring and blade with it, just the heads. Good luck!!

Figured with winter coming some would have nothing better to do...send money buy your own trade.
Didn't want to get back into making lures, made alot of bass lures, gave all my molds away b/c no longer interested in bass fishing.Guess its time to make my own jig heads for crappie,I already modify the pony with colored blades anyway.Takeing the rings off and painting the blade putting it back on may as will do it all.
Searching the net looking for small colored blades is like trying to find chicken teeth, found every thing else to make them.....thanks for the replys
