Feathers from 2 different birds. Got them from a lady up in Nebraska I think. Each tail has 1 Silver Lace, 2 Barred Rock plus 2 Barred Rock "V's"

Good ties there Pepop. Now tie one or two with a red "V" to imitate blood trail and man you got a kller jig. I am finding that Grizzly tail or wing in fact any thing that is bared on a crappie jig will increase it's effectiveness. Anybody else find this right?

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I thought about that too Redman. I'll tie a couple like that today since I want to have at least 4-6 in this pattern in my box. I'll be testing it on the timber tomorrow. There have been catches of some really good fish this week, suspended in deep timber. My partner caught a 7 fish bag on Tuesday that weighed 13#. I gotta get out there!!!

Pepop tie that one on behind a tree. Have a feeling that you will have to beat them off with a big stick. Killer pattern!!!!!

I really like the Red / Silver one. Both are nicely done.
