Squirrel jigs for the fall bite

I know it works, because I have used them, but what is it about a squirrel tail and drives the fish crazy?

I'm not sure but Mepps always said they have just the right movement. I only know the fish like them

I don't have any squirrel tails...! But I can see now, I need to get some.
