Default Jars for your Custom Powders

Found these plastic jars on Ebay... they are perfect for my experimental colors
before I decide to mix-up a larger batch.

At 1-ounce, they are exactly half of a 2-oz. jar from TJ's.

You get 12 jars for $8.95, and the seller has several other sizes available.

Do the lids have some kind of seal I them so when you put the lid on it seals? Right now I keep all paints in their pound container and the using part in a fluid bed cup.

Skip, yes, they have the same foam cap liner as in TJ's jars.

Uline 1-oz clear jars with lids 72 for $24.48, shipping is based on your zip code. They usually use UPS ground but if you call the order in you can ask for USPS rates. They're good jars, I'm on my third case of the 3oz. jars.

I still like my little jars for a $.25 each at my local Medicine Chest Pharmacy. They're intended for urine specimen's so they seal pretty good.

Some good ideas there, will end up getting some of at least one of these.

    Thanks for the tips!

we also use baby food jars the problem is they're not wide enough or not at the top and they should be a little bit more flatter say may be a inch and a half for 2 inches more like a test container that they use for urine samples.

I'm a cheaply and spend very wisely to say the least. BUT Uline is the way to go. You might find cheaper jars, by a pinch at the most, but p-paint lasts forever if you treat them right, and their jars provide that with a screw top and clear durable jars. All combined great for labeling, storing and reusing.
