I've used some different types of hair. Lately, I'm liking the extra select craft hair. No fuzzy under layer and it flows real nice. Not real pricey either. Lots or just a little for accent works good. A little flash and a thread neck and look out fish.

I don't use is as much as I should, but I know the craft fur in the one that starts out Black and turns silver or white on the tips. I was shown this from a guide here and I know it works well. I have not used much else other than real hair like Rabbit, fox, kip!

I have used the craft hair from Punisher Lures. I get mine at the Celina One Stop in Celina Tennessee when I go up to fish Dale Hollow, but you can order it from their website: Punisher Lures.com

What bigdoc said and try J Stockard. Had the wife look up stockard for me last week while I was driving and she said they have over 30 colors. The stuff also works well with angel hair flash.
