    Seems like the Pa. crappies just love orange.A couple times out and they almost depleted my jigbox of anything with orange in it.Doc Crappie is my witness as he was along for the ride.

    Nice mess of crappies there. Down here we throw 11 inches back...........into the frying pan. LOL

    Here in Pa. the size limit is 9" and most are 8 3/4" lol.Hey Ship,nice to see you.

    That is a good mess of crappie. Did you let Doc catch any of them. Those jigs are sweet too..

    Hot Orange here can be a very good color too especially when the water is a bit stained in early spring. I also know a good many guys that fish Orange a lot. So not just where you are, Orange is a good color!

    Looks like one of your jigs is red, is that just the picture or is it red?

    Nice ties on your jigs as well!

    Good job on both the crappie and jigs!

    It's a red kip jig.The orange chenille is all it took to make a good one.

    I guess the red kip makes the chenille look red too. I either am having vision problems or the picture just makes it look red. It's very clear the other 2 are Orange, but that red kip tail one sure looks red, but think it's just the pic.
