Looks good skip. Thats some pretty neat chenille did you get that from Danville? Have you gotten to try it out yet? Looks like it will be a crappie slayer!
I call this one Silver Gray Ghost. So what do you guys think?

Been using it for about 2 1/2 years now. Yes Danville is where I get what ever they make, but some of my chenille comes form a few other sources on some they don't make. I have used this chenille on several jigs that are very good and some popular like one I named after a guide on my Pro Staff that was the first to try it. That one is Chart head and tail with this silver body. I love this same jig with a Blue tail once Toledo Bend clears some in spring, like in April.
I call that one DEADLY! Looks like a winner to me skip. Congrats.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
I just placed an order for a bunch of chenilles in minnow like colors and hope to produce something similar to that for the picky crappie I target. For some reason they will not touch chartreuse at all. About all I can catch them on are either minnows or BGBS in the money milk color also the Arkie Clear w/ Silver Sparkle works. I'm thinking something similar to your jig would be deadly on them. Do you tip your jigs with crappie nibbles?
No Va, I got tired of them coming off so easy, but have several bottles of them. I for sure never do that in spring when trolling or casting. I will attempt them when tight lining sometimes unless I get upset with them coming off so easy. I did once come up with a jig that had a piece of clear tubing over the hook pushed up to the body and used one of the injector things to fill that will nibbles, but never used it much. I think though that I was on to something with that. I just usually just use a jig or in summer a jig on bottom and a minnow up maybe 18". Also do that at night in the summer and I use either a 1/8Oz or 1/4 Oz then.
Thanks guys!
Almost forgot I found some chenille that is a bit sparse, but is holographic silver and looks awesome. I tied up just one for a pic and really have not used it yet. Don't know why, but I tend to just have stuff that takes me forever even to fish it much less show it even on my site, LOL!
looks good to me skip.
