What size blade do you use? I am going to be pouring 1/16 and 1/32 jigs, but not sure on the blades to buy

Don't forget to pick up some #0 hammered finish willow blades for them also. That make a good looking lure and works well for me in 1/32 and 1/16 oz.

I agree with both bugman and redman. At times the willow blades works great, I keep some of smooth and hammered finish blade jigs in the tackle box.

The colorado seems to work better for me in deeper water tends to stay down closer to the bottom. The willow leaf seems to rise and run shallower for me which personally I like better. I seem to be able to fish the colorado or indiana slower. We fish the willowleaf 90% of the time and colorado 10%.I do like the colorado when they are spawning 1/16 oz red head, chart tail.

Ok thanks, I will get a variety of them and see which one works better down here.

I know you can buy them different colors but have you ever tried to paint or powder paint them?

We powder paint them all the time they are a pain but they turn out lookin great,a small peice of aluminium foil over the swivel dip, remove the foil and cure.I posted the link to the colorado because they are the most common and least expensive and i figured you would get a variety because thats just what fishermen do......i prefer the hammered willow above the colorado if for no other reason than looks.
