Default Well, I took the plunge....

Just ordered a 10 lb Lee melting pot, a round head collard mold 1/32 - 1/2 oz, size 4, 2 and 1/0 hooks, UV seal coat. I have some powder paint but not much so I will be ordering some more soon.

Also ordered a couple of sinker molds.

$200.00 worth of stuff was enough for now.

Got lucky on that end, a friend of mine has a bunch of pure lead that he won't be using. He said I'm more than welcome to take it off his hands.

    A few quick tips!
Be sure you pour in a well ventilated area.
Also be sure to bake any lead before tossing it your pot. Moisture and lead is an explosive combination.
Wear gloves, facemask and cover your skin. You will soon find out why...lol.
Do a little research and be careful.
    MOST OF ALL, HAVE FUN!

Thanks NP and Ship. I have been doing my research here and I'm on page 37. I am trying to do this without asking to many questions.:o

    Default step 2

You might as well cut to the chase and order a room full of tying supplies as well . This addiction is like a new purse or shoe to the ladies...lol.

Tank, if you're not sure on something don't hesitate to ask!!!!!! We've all had close calls one time or another and better ask than to get hurt. We can help save you the hassles of starting out.
