Default Do they look like minners?

Was experimenting with tying more 'top and bottom' jigs today and tied these. The top of the body is minner/shiner, with a white bottom. The tails are crystal flash with white and gray arctic fox.

Tied the top one first, then one of the cats started kicking up a fuss in the kitchen. I got up and refilled his water bowl, then came back and started the second. Got to the step where I would tie in the white part of the tail, only to find my patch of white hair missing. Looked all over the place thinking I'm losing my mind, and finally found a slobbery ball of fox hair in the corner. The little goober snuck out of the kitchen while I was filling his bowl and must have thought it was one of his rabbit hair toys. Had to comb it out and let it dry. Cat spit doesn't affect the catchability, I hope.

    The guilty party:

    Don't worry, catch crappie.

Had to cut a sickle jig out of my cats lip last week. He got into the boat and found a jig I had missed. I cut all my jigs off the rods and make sure there isn't any jigs left laying in the boat but he found one Doh May change his name from FatCat to Sickle...

Your jigs do look great. That top jig colors are very nice together. I have tried chenille run down the hook shank that way but after a few crappie are caught it doesn't hold very well.
    Nice tying.
