You know I pour alot. I use the 10lb bottom pour pot....Any questions call me buddy. 304-743-0539, and we will get you going in the right direction
Wondering which is best bang for my buck.
The Lee Hot Pot 2 is 42.95 and the Lee Production Pot 4 is 65.98. I'm also kinda looking at Lee Precision Lead Melter 37.98 and using the Lee Small Ladle 4.95.
Keep in mind I'm new to pouring my own jig heads. So I need an Idiot proof setup to get me started. I plan on pouring mainly jigs under 1/16 oz. I mostly use 1/64 and smaller which would be the bulk of what I pour.

Definately with Bug on this one, get the Pro Pot IV for 10 lbs of lead. You won't be sorry, and pouring that small it will make it easier.
X3 on the bottom pour........last a lifetime, sooooo simple and safe. Make room for all the molds you'll soon be acquiring.................
x4 best bet
X5 . If you do a lot of big stuff you might look at the 20lb bottom pour, otherwise the 10lb is the hot ticket. Pouring with a ladle is asking for trouble if you ask me. Too much molten lead in the ladle for my comfort. I know some use them with good results, but I'm goofy and worse when tired and don't need any accidents.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
I went with the hot pot-2 when I started and I still use it but I think I would have rather had the bottom pour. Small jobs can be done great and cheaply using the hot pot but you will out grow it fast so I say spend a little more and get the bottom pour I feel it will be worth it. Its on my list to order
I only agree if you plan on pooring to make some cash. Most of us don't poor for pay so a hot pot will do a fine job. I have a ladel that is still made that holds plenty of lead to be dipped out of a hot pot. I don't poor straight out of the pot. Me and some friend always wait for a coupld of nasty weekends in the dead of winter when we cant fish any if at all and poor all we need for the year. It's kind of fun to tell the truth. We tell stories drink beer and tell lies. What else you got to do on those nasty winter days. It really don't take that long to poor 1000, and it takes a lot of fishing to go through a 1000.
Fish like your hungry!
centrifuge man now theres some money. I looked at one last year, just a mear 65,000.00 bucks and its all yours lol.... not enough pouring jobs to pay for it here..lol
