    Default JD’s Rattlin Stinger Jig

In the accompanying photos you will see my newest CRAPPIE EXECUTOR,
I call it JD’s Rattlin Stinger Jig

I’ve always wanted to try a stinger tipped with a minnow and see just what kind of production it would yield.

The stinger hook keepers are sequins with a hole just big enough to go over the point of the hook, but not the barb. Once I force it past the barb it’s there to stay, keeping the stinger hook on the jig hook. I got a 200 ct. bag of these sequins at the craft store. They also will produce extra flash.
I affixed the rattles to the stinger hook by using heat shrink tubing. This idea I got from the January 2011 issue of Bass Master Magazine.

Now I just have to wait till the ice melts and freezing weather is gone so I can fire up the Tracker and get on the water.

Thanks for all the help over the years on this forum. What a neat community of Crappie fishers we have. I hope that my idea will stimulate all who see it and feel free to build you own Rattlin Stinger Jig.
