I haven't palmered anything in a while, and some materials on the bench spoke to me. The hackle should have been started from the other end:o, but it turned out good enough to catch fish in my buds pond. Josh, I tie the chenille in and then the butt of the hackle. Keeping the hackle out of the way, wrap the chenille and do a short finish to hold it while you go to step 2. Then I separate the feather by running my hand against the grain, and wrap it in between the rows of chenille. When you get to the end do a fairly stout finish and cement it in good. To do a collar, add the hackle when you finish wrapping the chenille and just go around a few times til you get the desired effect. Stop the chenille a little short to leave room for the hackle. Had fun doing this one, now maybe I'll fool with it some and make the next one look a little better. Probably not today though. Thanx for looking.

Perchjerker1, you know it is. You can't get better than great.
There's no weight on the bugger except the weight of the hook and it's heavier than you would think. I'm going to do the bugger on the dropper loop thing next time out. Fish are movin pretty good around here and I've heard they like a taste of bugger sometimes. Gonna do a couple of colors like black/chart and gray/silver/white and see what happens. I'll keep y'all posted.
