    Default This jig is guilty

I had a great day on the lake today. I caught 30- 35 crappie and kept a limit (20) of good ones and most of them was because of this guy. There is something they like about that feather tail. It might be the feather and hackle makes for a slower fall which is a must, but harder to cast. I will have plenty of them made for tomorrow.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

rtark- awesome. Not much better than catching a bunch of fish on your own creation. I like that grizzly hackle jig. Is that a 1/32?

Looks good. Hackle tails just work and that is all their is to that. Lots of fish caught on hackle tails.

Nice jig, if it's a 1/16 or 1/32 that hackle collar will slow it's fall (exactly what it does in fly tying).

Glad you had a great time

1/16 oz I couldnt cast a 1/32 far enough to get to the sweet spot. If I put on a split shot then it sank to fast.
I got another limit in 1 1/2 hrs this am. It is awesome this week. They were the kind you can hardly get your hand around. Good chance I will be there in the morning.
