Wow! Love the pink! Don't wear the color, but still like these jigs. Pink blades are too cool. A great cause also, very good of you LH. I'll bet trout will bite those and I think I have heard of someone having some success on crappie with pink jigs at Lake Henshaw (Ca) How's the action? Do they wobble?
Very clean ties! Do you whip finish on thread bodies or make a chain of hitch knots.... can never see your finish. Don't know that I've ever seen pink blades for that mater.
Those are excellent!!! Very neat and clean. Very nice work Led and for a great cause to.

Thnx - donating a ½ dozen Black Diamond Custom Chubs for the Special Olympics also. Think the auction thing is supposed to happen in March so start saving your $.
Heard Crappie Mike was working the waters down in that area… The Redear are biting in the Marina at Perris.

The thread is a 3/0 flat wax whip finished. The “trick” is;
After you have built up the tapered body – right before you tie off - let the bobbin hang and then spin it counter clockwise (if you are right handed – opposite for lefties). I do this while I’m wrapping the body – the thread is flat – and smooth. After you cut off the thread you want to burnish the wrap (I use my thumb nail), at the tie off, and pull the tag under the wraps. It’s a rod wrapping technique.

Thnx – hoping they “rake it in”.

Thnx - Tried the dinks with the embossing fluid mix (red, white, and blue) – looks great – but the fluid doesn’t evaporate off (argh) – even at 400*! Think the ratio I used was too much fluid – they say you can tone it down with water.

Thnx - want to see what you came up with.
