    I don't have a camera, but my best winter jig is a 1/64 pink head, peacock herl body, and pheasant tail. The herl tears up a lot quicker than chenille, but I've caught fish on this when the herl is almost completely destroyed.

    Kback, that pink/blue/pink killed them for me this winter at Carl Blackwell. I added a silver flash on each side of the tail, and tied it with marabou or kip tail. Both worked great. Here are some pics of ones that worked great for me.

    The one on the right is my first jig that I have ever tied, the middle one is the second jig that I tied and the left one is the third jig that I tied.
