I've tried ice fishing and caught a few,but that pinging sound that a frozen lake makes on a sunny day freaks me out.I havn't been out at all this year and i'm going through withdrawals.Heck,I'm starting to sweat scales.

I've got ice but awhile back got freezing rain on top of 3 inches of snow. Total thickness 5" but 3" is frozen slush, no good! More snow on top is just insulating the junk.
JungleJim... I've been on lake Erie with groups of snowmobiles driving by me, the weight pushes down the ice so much, water comes up out of your hole. Talk about freaky! Then factor in the under water currents! That was many years back, I gave up on the big lake and stick to the inland reservoirs in the winter.
AW, can't wait to see em in person, those heads look sweet! Nice color combo, already know just where I will be using them!!

Everyone (except Flatfish - he already has it) should have a PM from me w/ my shipping adress for the swap. If you don't find one, let me know.

Nice pic - I like. The only fish I've managed to ice so far are sunnies, and they have been few and far between....
