fished the res today lots of 4" bass and 4 keeper crappies 15' of water 7-8 ft down along the rock walls
I hate that when that happens!Originally Posted by mantooth
That cove & the old flooded quarry up by 380 would be the first 2 places I would have went. Maybe they are holding shallow, up in the dirtiest water areas by where the creek comes in. That would be the warmest water probably, and they like to move shallow in high water generally; but I don't know about 17' high!
Good luck to you any way!

Mantooth, Do you mind telling the how you were fishing and what you caught them on? Were you below the bridge or above it? If you don't want to post the info that's allright.Originally Posted by mantooth

I used an Aberdeen hook below a slip bobber with a minnow about 5-7 ft down on any structure you can find. I also threw a white tube jig with no minnow when I saw bait fish hitting the surface. You would catch 5 white bass and maybe 2-keeper crappie each time. everything below the bridge, mostly at the mouths of the coves. good luck
with the cool temps has anyone been catch'n I have'nt?
Fished below the bridge Sat. got 5 nice crappies and about 100 little LMB/Striped bass on twister tail jigs.
