    Default Lake Odessa

Does anyone have any specific info on what areas of the lake were dredged last year? Or maybe it was the year before.

Only areas I heard that got dredged were out in the open part of the main lake and the area to the west of Yankee Chute whice I believe is Beaver Pond.

I was told the other day by a friend that just a couple years ago he had caught some crappies thru the ice in the main part of the lake. Thinking maybe the dredged areas may concentrate the fish a bit.

I fished there last july. The lake was up high enough then that people were tubing and pleasure boating. The depths are still not great for fishing in many areas on 3-5 foot off the main lake. Did run in to quite a few small crappie and my buddy hauled in around a 14" mostly in the sand run area. Could have potential if they keep the water at a steady rate.

No time to fish. Completely redid the inside of house. Just about done now.
