    Talking Collateral Damage

My biggest crappie got away today as I was fighting 30 mph wind gusts, and couldn't manage the trolling motor , rod , dip net all at once . However I did catch some of these blue crappie. A lot of them came from one tree top. Used a 1/64 oz jig with bee moth. Cast them as close to the brush as possible and let it do a slow drop. These gills nearly tore my arm off. Many were in the 9 inch range. I had trouble getting my hand around some of them, they were so fat. Yep, lost a few jigs... and the squirrels were entertained with my colorful language.
