Thread: Lake Sullivan

Does anyone fish lake sullivan outside of Terre Haute thank you

Not that big of a lake with very large public campgrounds and park, part of it. It does have crappie and bass and the state stocks saugeye of which I thinks the state record come from. Best time to fish is before Memorial Day and way after Labor day as it’s a playground for the campers as they water ski and tube heck out of it. Also, I don’t think they let you launch before 7 am as they have a noise rule to benefit the campers. Shallow lake as deepest part by Dam was only maybe 20’ deep and brownish water. I won’t fish it anymore so it’s all yours. You can google a map of it with contours of the lake. Also, I think they charge to launch.
