    You fish winona much river? I had a guy awhile back tell me that wouldn't eat the fish because some cleaning place had storm run off water that dumped into it....I have got some walleye out of there couple years back hope to get up that way this year...

    Ive fished winona quite a bit and kept quite a few eyes out of there. I know they had that spill a few years back, cant remember what it was for sure but I don't think it was anything to be concerned about. In I don't think the run off was all that great, it was just an abundance of caution. Who knows i'm relying mostly on memory and that isn't always the greatest anymore, I should probably look it up again. Anyhow i've ate a lot of fish from there.

    no i dont get over there like i used to. only fished it a few times in the last 20yrs.
