Good day fishing when you get tired of catching....WTG...
Loweboat on here and myself went to Monroe yesterday and catching fish was not a problem at all. In fact it kind of got annoying at times. We caught real close to 200 fish yesterday, with 90% of them being 5-8" crappie. We caught white bass, yellow bass, catfish, bluegill, walleye, and crappie. We were spider rigging and quite often we would both catch doubles or have one on each of the three poles at the same time. A lot of them were biting short, or we would have probably had close to 300. The largest crappie was around 13" and we had several around 11-12". I think we kept maybe 10 total. The only challenge was finding them stacked up, but once you did it was game on. At times you could see tons of them just swimming around on the surface. We caught less than 20 females, all the rest were males. They were either fully colored or just starting, there was really no in between. IMO some have spawned, but most have not. Females are still in deeper water waiting to move up and have not yet began to feed IMO.
