Thread: Report on Blue Lake, Churubusco, Northeast

Went out Saturday morning around 730 and just as I dropped a line in the northwest corner, thunder came in. Headed to the launch and threw a micro crankbait until it started to drizzle. 3 keeper crappie on 3 straight casts, in 12 feet of water along the edge of the weeds, 50 yards offshore at the launch. Pulled 20 keepers out along with 3 huge sunfish, one a bluegill and 2 pumpkinseeds, biggest I've ever caught. Cleaned several crappie that still had eggs so we will see if the action continues tomorrow................IF IT DOESNT RAIN.......................
