Walls Ramp as soon as the water is down a little.
Anyone know some good places to try this time of year? Or suggestions on depth/structure to look for?

We put in at Painters Creek, but didn't have any luck with crappie. The water was, as I expected, up and muddy. However I wanted to get out on the water so I figured the fishing may not be the greatest. First time I've ever went to Patoka and didn't at least get into a few crappie. However we did hook into some blue cats hitting on the minnows with one being around 6-7 lbs.
We tried a few different places from buck brush, underwater log jams (in anywhere from 8-16') and even the bridge areas. We did hook into some catfish on jigs tipped with minnows off into one of the coves.
water temps?
Guy at Church told me last night it is high and muddy right now, not good for much.
I expect it will be a late start this year, hope I am wrong.
