    what lure color's do you guys prefer when the water is stained and muddy like it is?

    Pink head, Chartruse and orange body. Or orange head with pink and chartruse body. And old standby black and Chartruse..

    I also like metalflake in some of my tubes and curley tails in muddy water.

    You're going to have to hit them in the nose. Water visibility is about 2" down here

    i like orange green white black and combos.

    dont forget sound or flash either. they can be very important in helping draw fish farther in mud. even using a heavy jig and pounding on limbs and such can get their attention. like locator said get in close. fortunatly with muddy water you can do just that if you keep quiet. i regularly pull them from 2ft under my hull in tree tops.
