Default What type of sonar do you use at the bow?

Thinking about getting a new bow unit and was curious to see what other people use for crappie fishing. I mostly spider rig and only have 2d on the bow and SI/DI on the console.

What type of sonar(s) do you guys use at the bow? 2D, DI, SI or a combination

SI will be a waste of money because you have to be moving at 3+ mph to get a clear picture. If you have SI and DI on the back, get a 858 for the bow and interlink so they communicate. 700 series is also a good option if your short on funds!

    Yes, keep
your chart speed on the slow side when you are going less than .5 MPH and you can still get a decent image.
