Default Crappie guide for Patoka Lake

Couple of questions for still newbie.
Is it to late to catch the big crappie at Patoka, like big ones? and does anyone know of a guide that fishes up there.
I am thinking of taking my youngest son for a morning fishing trip and would love to get into some big crappie. we only catch 6-8 inch ones and would love to catch the biger ones, never done that before and thought he would love to fish for big ones .
    Thanks

Tim Gibson is the only full time guide on patoka, he will put you on some fish. You can check out his web page "Tim Gibson fishing Guide service"
Or just give him a call # 812-936-3382 he lives right near the lake guides at patoka most everyday in summer, and guides in Florida in the fall.
He is a great guy to fish with, I would not hire anyone else for patoka lake. just my 2cents
