Default First time on Monroe in 2013

Well today was a nice day weather wise and the fish did bite for the first 2 hours but then they either shut off or when we moved we just couldn't find them again.
Water temps were 38 to 40 deg. The morning time weather was awesome but then the wind picked up and blew across that 38 deg water and it got cold quick...LOL!

Here is a couple we caught today. I'm sure everyone catching some today.

Nice going. Yep, the clouds moved in and along came the wind. I think it was gusting to almost 20 at some point and across water it seems twice as cold as on land. Those should help boost your confidence. Good to see some Pics !!

I'm glad someone had some luck...I fished hardy today and couldn't find a fish? I guess you could say it was a day of fishing....not catching!

Your day was much better than mine! I guess I wasn't fishing when you were.

Today I found a better bite, but did anybody see my hat go flying by?

I think I saw about a 2 lb crappie swimming by , wearing it. If it was an IU hat and I were in your situation, I would have jumped in after it. If a UK or PU hat...then let that crappie have it. That wind was something elst today.
