    Default 9/27

Got out this PM for a couple of hours. No wind, bright sun, water temp 68 degrees and pretty clear. Hadn't been out for a while so I struggled for a while trying to figure out where they were. Ended up finding most of them suspended around 10 ft above wood in 14 ft of water. Ended up with about 25 or 30 small ones in the 9 - 9 1/2 in range. Did manage a few nice ones in the 11 - 12 in range. A 1/6 oz jig with red/charetuse tubes appeared to work best.

WTG - I'd be happy with some of that action now...
Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.
