    Default The perfect crappie boat?

Just wondering what most of you would consider the
'' perfect crappie boat '' and what accessories this boat would include. I personally like fiberglass , maybe 18' with a 150 hp motor , maybe two livewells, set up for spider rigging, and night time fishing......treepotato

I love my 1648AW jon boat, because its paid for. I fish with my brother in law from time to time out of his Nitro, and I would rather fish from mine. I love the open layout which is most important to me, and with my little aluminum boat, I can hit every stump in the lake and really not give a sh*t. I can run forever on 6 gallons of gas, and hardly even know I'm pulling it down the road. If I could add anything, it would be a large buit in livewell, and a little more dry storage. But for the type of fishing I do, it is perfect for me. The only downside to the aluminum boat, is wind. I get blown around the lake like a soda can on windy days.

I've always liked jon boats, too. Had a 16' years ago, currently have an old 14' I did some converting to . It fishes pretty decently. Got a lake up a creek full of logs and stumps the glass boat boys can't get at. I show them my fish at the ramp, tell them where I caught them, listen to them curse.

    Whatever boat I'm fishing in!

Caught more out an old semi-V with a 9.9 than any other boat. It wasn't expensive but would handle a little more water than a jon.

I have a 16' Starcraft semi-vee. I really enjoy it. To me its a fishing machine.
It's a shame I'm not as good a fisherman as it's a fishing boat. I do like the fishing pedestals and the ability to stand and move around the boat (no bench seats). It works for me.

I like my Tracker 175 Crappie boat. Has 60 hp. motor. Goes about 35 across lake but not so big it sucks the fuel. Two bait wells and live wells w/recirculators. Electric anchor winches front and back. Two depth finders. I only thing it doesn't have I wish I had was remote trolling motor.
