    Default southern ill fishing

Just got back from fishing kincaid, crab, and rend. water temps in mid fifties with Rend being 61 in the river. Fishing was pretty slow, I tight line. Caught fish on each lake but mostly small. fished two foot to 20 feet, most fish were shallow, but again small. yesterday Friday I noticed fish seemed to be responding to the warmer weather finally. Stayed in a motel next door to another guy who fished all the lakes I mentioned plus Egypt. He had same results in all but Egypt, he said he killed big fish shallow with excellent stringer. Looks to me if the weather stays favorable the fishing is about to get awesome.

I can second our thoughts about Crab Orchard. Just got back Friday with 2 of my fishing buddies.
We caught over 150 crappie for 2 days fishing. Brought home 55 keepers.
