Check out bass boat central under the trailer accessories forum. Tons of people instal them on there and have them for sale. Lots of help over there.

I'm getting old and having trouble getting into my boat. Is there anyone who has installed steps or similar device to aid getting into your boat when it is on the trailer. I would prefer steps near the front of the trailer so I could fish by myself. I have a Rt 178 crappie boat.

I made mine own but EZEE steps have high reviews on the walleye forum
Oh my gosh...This is what you need ! I installed one this spring and love it. Maybe a little pricey, BUT WELL WORTH IT ! https://www.easystepsystem.com/ From a nice gentleman from Texas.

Why are they so expensive?
Thanks bird man, the BBC site is what got me thinking about adding steps, but I was looking at the "tin" section, and it had some really good information. Currently I couldn't find anything under the trailer threads, but it would be a good place to ask this question again. So far I have been considering a trick step or trying to modify a trailer hitch step, two steps that slip into a trailer hitch, but I would modify it to attach to trailer. Best thing about the hitch step is that it only costs about 60 dollars where the trick step costs well over 400$. Oh well, I got a month or two to decide, would still appreciate info from anyone else. thanks

Mudman, ETrailer.com has a Hitch Stair with 2 steps for $74.11 or Cabela's has a Extended Trailer Step that may also help you in your quest. I just googled trailer steps...
