    Default Carlyle lake tailwater

I have fished this one time but it was a while back. I was wanting to put my boat in and fish it. What I wanted to know was what water level would it need to be. I have a v bottom boat no jet. I would like to walleye fish below the dam.

    Thanks Joe

Drove over the bridge last week. Looked really low, doubt any boat would be able to go past the Suspension bridge eddies. No sure about directly below the dam.

water is currently over rocks at the swinging bridge and has been for a few days but not high enough for save travel. Put in above bridge if your wanting to fish below the dam. ramp also below bridge If your wanting to head down river. 99% Sauger hardly if ever any Walleye. keep us updated on how it goes. Crappie are biting too good for me to chase Saugs right now!
