I've been out green carp fishing for the past few weeks and haven't seen any busting on the south end of the lake. I keep a popper tied on just in case lol.

didn't see em busting the surface but they busted the *&%@ out of my jig while crappie fishing the other day. Man they are fun to catch. Several caught pushing two pounds. They were active on the river channel in 20 fow or so.

even when there were a lot of whites, june was the month when most of the surface action took place. now that there aren't as many, they seem to have gone to a deep pattern, even in the fall. they are harder to find, but look 12-22 fow, maybe on the bottom, maybe suspended. river channel ledges, deep on flats or points are where I would look...healthnspector, were you spider rigging or fishing over deep cover?

caught these fish probing deep cover. They seemed to be suspending in the river channels. I would think they could be caught spider rigging/slow trolling following deeper river channel contours...?
