Fished last Thursday and Yesterday from 3:30 to 6:30 each evening and caught around 45/50 each time out. We kept 15 both times between 9.5" and 11.5". Most were in that 9.5/10" range. Thought the fish would be transitioning between deep and shallow water so focused on brush in the 5/10 ft range and boy was I wrong. 95 percent were in 2.5 ft or less of water. Caught all fish jigging 1/16 oz head w a lime green body or blue and white. Lots of shad all over the lake w bass busting them. Did talk to another gentleman at ramp who was catching them deep 15/20 foot, so go figure. All fish caught from island south.

I seen the same thing Tuesday, was catching fish on brush piles in 11 fow just off the bottom and bass and crappie busting shad on the surface and the backs of coves. Started catching them shallow after that.
what was the water temp. ?
Will be going out this weekend in my canoe. I live in Hillsboro and want to try the two litchfield lakes.
