    Default Lake Shabbona


    Anyone have any info to pass along on fishing this lake?? Group of us are thinking about trying it this weekend to try and fish for a few slabs. Thanks!!

    Define slabs... Use your electronics and you should have no trouble finding as many 9" fish you want. Side scan the deep trees as well as anything else deep. You'll be able to walk across the lake on all the boats there'll be out there. All that said, I miss it terribly...

    Yep, 2X his statement, Last full weekend of the year-Ouch- Everybody & their brothers,sisters, Aunts & Uncles will be there, heard all camping spots were taken by Thursday AM.

    Contact the Crappie Professor, he guides on Shabbona and others. Plenty of fishing to go around, not much for size, but they have quantity.
