Fish are still biting well and on their summer patterns. Deep structure has been yielding lots of fish. Minnows and slip corks 9-14ft over deeper water

How do you keep minnows alive in summer's hot water?

I get my bait from leprechaun landing and their water is 56. Get to the lake and mix it with half lake water. Get you an engle cooler and have away at it.

    Default Ville fishing

I got a good cooler, but since I'm fishing on Lake of Egypt, minnows don't last very long, and it gets mighty expensive!

I understand for sure. I usually buy 10 dozen at a time but I honestly don't lose but 1-3 total each trip out and minnows will last 5-10min in the 85-93 degree water temps. Hopefully this will help
    Some it has me anyways

Thanks. I do pretty decent with tube jigs. I just set 'em at the right depth and let the bobber bounce keep them 'alive'...
