Thread: Central Illinois Crappie Club Clinton Lake results

Finishing first was the "Brushpile Jig" team of Matt Mullins and Terry Davis. This team dominates on Clinton and Sunday was no exception. They finished with 4.25# including big fish of 1.17#. They accomplished this by staying positive all day and they kept moving until later in the day when they found their fish in the far west end of the lake from 8 to 20'. They fished straight jig bodies on an 1/8 ounce deep ledge jig head. The second place team of Doug Kennedy and new member Dan Weikle used a completely different tactic to weigh in 3.90#. They were also in the far west end, but found their fish in 4' of water or less and caught them on a jig under a bobber. Yet another method proved successful for the 3rd place father and son team of John and Caleb Gehrken. They caught all their fish on minnows in houseboat cove. They weighed 3.72#. Rounding out 4th place was another new member. Dave Nugent fished by himself and landed 3.62#. Congratulations and thank you to all who fished.
