    Default Fall bite on Mississippi river is firing up!


    I went out today and caught quite a few fish in the 12" range with these two being the biggest today. The big girls are starting to move up! Very shallow fish today!

    I've caught them on 13 never tried 14 that much other than Bass. Nice fish!!

    Ya I'm less than a hour from Thompson I live in Princeton. I've been fishing 13 for about 10 years or better,,mainly bass but do know a few good crappie holes when they are in there. When I target crappie I go to Shelbyville or lake evergreen anymore. If your going to camp look me up and we'll talk

    Sounds good. I live in Colona IL. I'll be down at camp. There's a crappie tourney on Saturday the 10th so I'll be going down the 7th. Let me know when you land down there.
