Very nice! Great pics, thanks for posting!
I haven't posted much of anything this spring I feel like, but iv still been out on the lake a whole bunch. Crappie on shelbyville are really setting up nicely on their "summer patterns" even though the lake is super high. Makes finding brush and fish difficult if you're not familiar with the lake. I'm fishing deep brush piles in 18-35ft of water and fishing anywhere from 15-21 foot deep above them and in them. If we have a good hot sunny day them crappie are going crazy, and the bigguns too and makes the action almost non stop and you can get 10-40 off of most spots you stop at. However, if it's overcast or cloudy or even partial sun then the crappie are sitting pretty high in the water column and roaming a lot more and you only catch 5-10 off of every spot but they bite right away. Either way I would guess we are easily boating between 90-120+ crappie on any given day. All through June, I set up the boat to spider rig up to 4 people and created "The crappie combine" and that was some of the funnest days iv had this year I think. It really wasnt uncommon to have 4-8 poles going down at one time... every technique to perch jerkin has its peaks and ideal situations and everybody is better at one technique or the other, but whatever you choose, get out there and catch you some of these summertime crappie. It sure is fun right now!
Very nice! Great pics, thanks for posting!
U sure got that set up nice for spider rigging
I can't believe that you'd fish with that many rods. Two arms=two poles. Come on now T.
is that a Yeti in the back?
birdman, I sure like your boat set up, looks very organized
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

looks like some happy customers you have there. Thanks for sharing. I've not had any success even close to that on the ville this summer. I figured a thermocline would prevent fishing that deep.
Great report. Glad to see your still around.

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!
Nice mess of crappie. I like your set up. When did you trade boats. Do you have your other Ranger for sell? If so.. may have someone interested..
