My question and answer to Site Superintendent,
My question is, "why can't we have a dock at the boat ramp"?
We all have seen how the fluctuating water level can destroy a dock but there must be a solution ( i.e. remove when flooding occurs).
It looks like this time of the year is a good time to repair or replace the dock that is broke.
Also are you planning on removing the unsightly dock that is setting in the middle of the cove?
His responce,
Thank you for your inquiry. The answer is "you can have a dock at Eagle Creek". Now, I know what you are thinking - you have heard that before! I understand your frustration and I want you to know that I share in your frustration. This has indeed been four years. I have been told that this problem will get taken care of this year, but I will be honest, I have been told that before.

I am pushing as hard as I can, and I want you to know that I remain committed to doing so. Please know that your concern is my concern. Replacing the walkway to the dock is a project that has been in the works since the new walkway failed so soon after being installed. This will remain a top priority until the job is completed.

As far as the dock in the middle cove, we will be addressing it this spring/summer. We've had a lot of feedback on this. A lot of boaters/fisherman like it out there. It certainly isn't useable as is, though so we will be either pulling permanently or pulling and restoring it to a functional condition.

Thank you again for your inquiry, your concern and your commitment to Eagle Creek. I promise you that I will not stop pushing on this project.
