    Default Ballwin lake?

Don't see anything about it here. Was thinking about it for later this week. Gonna watch the wind, heard it can get rough. Not picky bout what I fish for. As long as I'm on the water!

Smallmouth, stripers & big cats good some days, ya cain't hide from the wind though. If ya wanna fish structure better take your own bush with ya
Early to bed, early to rise,

You can only fish the North half of the lake right now,,refuge bouys from the causway for refuge.. Crappie in Baldwin now are few and far between. Strippers have been hit and miss. Watch the wind for sure.

I remember 15 years ago catching 14-16" crappie with dad while throwing rattle traps for stripers. Not gonna happen anymore. Have caught 1 crappie out there in the last 8 years. If you are looking for a fight at baldwin...test them massive bluecats they have in there. Theyre a blast

Thanks guys. With the reports and now a schedule change, I'm gonna lay off ballwin tomorrow. Might do silver lake for a little bit in afternoon. only takes 10 minutes to get there! Not to mention still only a projected, whopping 27 degrees by 9am. Maybe Friday for ballwin, will watch the wind for sure. Thanks again.

Just got home from Baldwin. Water temps were in the 60 to 65 degree range. Only fished about an hour. We mainly went to run my friends new motor. Seen lots of bait fish on the locatoer but caught on fish. I noticed the small mouth limit is 6 fish 17inches long. Thats a good smallie!
