There ya go! What you boys using down that way?
Got out for a few hours yesterday afternoon with Dad. We haven't had a chance to do any fishing since the Spring, so we decided to head for the River. It wasn't hot and heavy, but we did manage to catch a couple crappie, and missed several more. Very subtle bite for the most part. Here's a pic of the nicest one Dad caught. Measured about 11 1/2 inches.

I was using Bobby Garland MO-GLO Electric chicken and 'Shewter was using hand tied jigs most of the afternoon. Tipped them with Crappie Nib's.
"Grab the net, Henry.........it's a BIG'UN!!!!!!!"
Fantastic! Love to hear about catching crappie around pool 26. Been a while, but have caught quite a few around Dresser. 11-12" is a good one around there.
Hearing people catching sauger/eyes below the Alton Dam and below Chain of Rocks. Too busy chasing quackers right now, but need to catch some fish.
Freezer is officially empty. Good Luck guys! And Happy Thanksgiving!
